Give Me Five Reasons to Hit Pause…

 1.      The Def Jam signees are a mashup of pop and urban goodies with a splash of sauciness. Once Kyndra “Binkie” Reevey, Lesley Lewis, Naomi Allen and Sarah Rosete decided to form a group, they chose their moniker based off the collective sensuality they exude. 

 

2.   Before the fierce four banned together to sing behind a microphone, they were striking a pose behind artists, dancing on tour with the likes of Ciara, Usher and Mariah Carey.

 

3.   Lesley and Binkie hail from the nitty gritty streets of the Big Apple; the former from Brooklyn and the latter from Harlem. Both Sarah and Naomi call Toronto, Canada home.

 

4.   Together, these femme fatales have extensive training in vocals, dance, musical theater and tickling the piano keys. Lesley attended the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts while Sarah also attended a Performing Arts High School.  

 

5.    They have songwriting and production duo The-Dream and Tricky Stewart at the helm of their project. Their debut album, How To Be A Lady, showcases the first single, “Drink In My Cup,” which celebrates their sex appeal on the dance floor.

 

What Else Should I Know Before I Hit Play?

This foursome makes it their duty to put ladies first. “You know how back then the Spice Girls had girl power?” asks Sarah. “With us, it’s lady power, girl power on crack!”
