SNEAK PEAK: FAME IN THEATERS SEPTEMBER 25TH, 2009
Starring Notorious‘ NATURI NAUGHTON and So You Think You Can Dance‘s KHERINGTON PAYNE
A reinvention of the classic film, FAME follows a talented group of dancers, musicians and actors at the New York City High School of Performing Arts. The film focuses on raw talent trying to find success with struggle, sweat and dedication and stresses the importance of real talent, hard work and determination as the only way to achieve real and lasting fame.
The talented cast includes Naturi Naughton, (former member of 3LW, “Notorious”), Collins Pennie (“Half Nelson”, “Prom Night”), Anna Maria Perez De Tagle (“Camp Rock”, “Hannah Montana”) and Kherington Payne, the breakout star from “So You Think You Can Dance.” With Debbie Allen (an original FAME cast member) returning to play Principal Sims, and Megan Mullally, Kelsey Grammer, and Bebe Neuwirth joining the cast as teachers, the film promises to entertain.
