NEW MUSIC: NE-YO WILL BE YOUR “HERO”
It’s been almost 2 years since R&B artist NE-YO has released a new single, but now the wait is over. Monday night in N.Y.C., Ne-Yo released a song for the first time since 2008. He wrote “Heroes” to raise awareness for relationship violence. Coming from an abusive household, the cause is dear to his heart.
“Heroes” is part of the RESPECT! Campaign which is a social action campaign to promote respect in relationships and increase awareness about the positive role everyone can play to help end and prevent relationship violence by starting with something that everyone can do: Give Respect others. From February 1st to March 31st, Alfani will make a $1 donation to the campaign to end relationship violence for every free download .
Check out a Ne-yo’s live performance of “Heroes” on the DAVID LETTERMAN show after the jump!
Do you think celebrities are playing a big enough role as positive role models for the general public?
