Cop Out starring Bruce Willis as “Jimmy Monroe” and Tracy Morgan as “Paul Hodges,” is about a two longtime NYPD partners on the trail of a rare, collectable baseball card, which was stolen by a baseball memorabilia-collecting gangster. In the process, they come across a kidnapped woman, who holds the key to millions of dollars in an offshore bank accounts. Good:
The movie was funny, it definitely had me Laughing Out Loud! It may not have been the most “original” movie, but you’ll still a good laugh out of it. Tracy Morgan and Bruce Willis worked well together, I enjoyed their chemistry.
Bad:
Again, the movie didn’t seem very original, just seemed like something I’ve seen done before. The acting skills of the “gangsters” could have been A LOT better, if played by other actors. Lastly, there was a lot going on in that movie, it was a little hard to focus and got confusing at times.
Over all, I think this movie is a must-see comedy for 2010.
My rating is 7 out of 10 stars.
